价格上涨，船期延误，邮件记录

价格上涨40%，船期延误1个月，客户本来有一个80W的订单准备下。突然ON HOLD了。

We totally understand the serious situation- price increase & sea shipping delay- at the moment.

And it might be difficult for both of us to proceed.

To be candid with you, we are very pleased to keep doing everything we can to fix the badissues for you.

However, the delay of sea shipping is obviously beyond our ability.

The situation was that the 220pcs shipment was sent out in February, which happened to be near the Spring Festival in China.

It was the peak period, cause all buyers required the goods sent out before our long holiday.

I have discussed to the shipping broker about " why choose the sea rail way, not complete sea transport?"

They replied that the boat for this 220pcs shipment was the only ship that could be booked at that time, there is no second choice, otherwise have to wait until the end of the spring festival holiday.

Since last year China has been suffering a great dearth of shipping containers due to a big imbalance in global trade, exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has led to containers full of goods leaving China and then not returning.

For the price increase. As raw materials are rising, we are willing to afford together with our customers and have sacrificed part of our profits already. It is expected that the price will drop in September, if you can wait until that time, it is recommended to place orders then. If not, we suggest arranging as soon as possible, cause the price will continue to rise in the next few weeks. Of course, once the price is adjusted, we promise to lower the price for you immediately.

The issue at hand for me is accept higher price from local but get delivery quickly and increase the turnover of my business therefore increase my profit or wait for shipping company to take their sweet time and give every excuse under the Sun.
