疫情结束了，大家是不是都有一颗蠢蠢欲动的心呀？想要去国外参展、拜访老客户和地推。我也不例外，我们行业的大型展会主要在美国和德国，从时间上看我首先锁定了美国NPE, 将于2024年5月6日至10日在奥兰多举行。申请美签迫在眉睫，我于12月21日提交DS160表格，12月27日就约到了面签，1月24日面签通过，1月27日收到了贴有美签的护照。整个过程相当顺利......
十年美签到手，意味着十年之内我随时可以去漂亮国。好开心！
下面分享一下我白本护照拿美签的整个过程。
一、申请流程
1. 在官网提交DS160表格，填写完成后会有一封带条形码的确认函。

重点提醒：根据个人情况如实填写。需提前准备好51*51mm的电子相片。
2. 就近选择领事馆预约面签时间。预约成功会有一封预约信，需要打印出来，面签当天凭预约信进领事馆。
3. 按预约时间提前半小时抵达领事馆进行面签。需要带齐以下资料。
面签当场拿到“黄单”表示通过，会收走护照；“白单”表示未通过，会把护照退还给你。
二、面签流程
1. 比预约时间提前半小时抵达领事馆。
2. 凭预约信排队进领事馆的大铁门。
3. 刷身份证进院子。
4. 再凭预约信在护照的背面贴签证类型条形码。
5. 脱外套安检。
6. 录指纹。先录左手除了大拇指的四指，再录右手四指，最后两个大拇指一起录。
7. 排队等正式面签。像银行柜台一样，站着回答签证官的问题。
这里排队的时候就可以观察哪个窗口通过率高，从而选择自己心仪的窗口。我面签那天是22号窗口通过率最高，几乎全过。但工作人员给我安排的是20号窗口，趁她不注意我溜到了22号，没想到她一回头又把我拉回了20号。心想：今天估计要完蛋了，前面的男生被问了10分钟最后还是被拒签了。深呼吸，马上调整心态，坦然面对......
三、 面签提问
面签当天，签证官就问了我4个问题：
1. 你去美国干什么？
我一边回答一边拿出了展会邀请函给他，他看了一眼笑了，瞬间我觉得我拿签证没问题了。
2. 你们公司是做什么的？
我又边回答边拿出了我们公司的画册，他居然每页翻了一遍然后还给我。
3. 你是第一次去美国吗？
是的。
4. 你去过哪些国家？
如实回答就好。
我的新护照是白本，旧护照只去过菲律宾。但我回答：菲律宾，香港和澳门。
他点了点头说：Your visa is approved. 然后递给我一张“黄单”。
真正体验了那句话“排队两小时，面试两分钟。”
我是8:30准时到达领事馆，出馆坐上车刚好10:30.
以下是我准备的英文提问清单，基本涵盖了所有面签会遇到的问题。仅供参考：
1. Can you speak English?
ANSWER: Yes, I can.
2. What’s your purpose to the United States? (Why do you go to America? )
ANSWER: I want to attend the trade show NPE 2024 held on May 6-10 in Orlando as a visitor, to look for potential customers and suppliers for our products. Please kindly check the invitation letter.
3. What does your company do? (What’s your company’s business scope?)
ANSWER: We make plastic injection molds and mold components. This is our company profile, please kindly check.
4. Are you going alone or with a group? (Is there anyone traveling with you? ) What are their names? Will they come back and forth with you?
ANSWER: I will go with my colleague-Qianqian Qing. She went to Australia and New Zealand in the past 5 years. She will come here for U.S. visa interview on March 4. We will be back together.
5. Who will be paying for this trip? (Who will bear the cost of this trip?)
ANSWER: Our company. ** MOULD.
6. Which cities in the United States will you visit? Have you booked the hotel and air tickets?
ANSWER: Orlando. I will book the hotel and air tickets after I get the visa.
7. When do you plan to leave? How long to stay? (Answer according to the itinerary, what day, where and what to do)
ANSWER: May 4th to May 12, 9 days.
May 4, land in Orlando and then check in.
May 5, prepare for the exhibition at Orange Country Convention Center.
May 6 to May 10, visit the NPE 2024 exhibition of the Plastics Industry Association.
May 11, evacuate the NPE 2024 exhibition of the Plastics Industry Association.
May 12, fly back to China.
8. How old are you? Educational qualifications? How many years have you worked? How long have you been in the company?
ANSWER: I am 34 years old. I had college degree and graduated from ** College in 2011. I have worked for 12 years and have been in this company for 6 years.
9. What do you do? What are your job responsibilities? How much is the monthly salary?
ANSWER: I am a sales manager. My job responsibilities are maintain relationship with regular customers and develop new customers via all kinds of ways. Such as ALIBABA, social media, customs data and trade show.
My monthly salary is about RMB30K.
10. Are you married? What's the wedding date? What does your spouse/ husband do? Where does he live now?
ANSWER: Yes, I got married. My wedding date is Feb 9th, 2015.
My husband is a deputy general manager in a company. He lives with me in Dongguan now.
11. Do you have children?
ANSWER: Yes, I have two children. My daughter is 7 years old and my son is 2 years old.
12. Which countries have you visited? What to do?
ANSWER: I visited Philippines in 2019. Took a trip to Manila.
13. Do you have any relatives in the United States?
ANSWER: No, I don’t.
14. How can you prove that you will return to your own country?
ANSWER: I have families in China. I do love my husband and two children so much. I have house, car and stable job. So I will be back for sure.
15. Why should we give you a visa?
ANSWER: I have families in China. I do love my husband and two children so much. I have house, car and stable job. So I will be back for sure. I will appreciate if you give me a visa.
四、总结我拿美签的秘诀
1. 心态一定要好。淡定面对所有问题。
2. 主动微笑地和签证官打招呼，使他心情愉悦。
我前面的男生被问了很久最后被拒，主要原因是准备的资料不够充足。我看到签证官的表情明显不高兴，当我微笑地跟他打招呼，他立马也笑了。
3. 邀请函非常重要。我感觉我就是凭邀请函秒过的。
无论是展会公司的邀请函，还是客户公司给你的邀请函，都非常有用。
4. 最好能带上公司画册。让客户扫一眼就知道你们公司是做什么的，比你说他想象更简洁高效。尤其是做冷门产品的公司。
5. 公司在职证明和工资证明必不可少，且需要老板签字盖公章。
6. 最近六个月的银行流水和资产证明也是必须准备的。经济实力越强越好。
7. 如果是白本且未婚的女性，申请美签之前可以考虑先跟团去欧洲发达国家玩一圈或者东南亚日韩新马泰；或者选择跟团去美国参展，团队面签比一个人的胜算大。
8. 申请美签之前不要去那些高危国家，比如俄罗斯，朝鲜等。
