一个英国的客户，找供应商合作需要CE/ROHS认证加REACH声明。给客户REACH声明之前老板说需要先做REACH认证，客户不肯出认证费，当然公司也不肯出，毕竟这个产品只有他一个客户在要这认证。做起来每份4000RMB/方案。目前客户只下了个很小的试单，两个方案。应上级要求，我就开始写邮件跟客户商量他们出认证费用的事。Dear David,So far, you are the only customer required REACH declaration for cctv cameras from our company. Please kindly understanding we need to get the REACH certificate before we could issue the relevant declaration in case of any problems later. We would be glad to help you to apply certificate here. But i am afraid that customers should bear the fees for special certificate like REACH, and apply it in your name & model is acceptbable. The fees forREACH is 606USD for each solution. As so far, you placed order for 2 solutions (A，B), total amount is 1212USD. However, we will bear for all ROHS fees, as it is one of basic certificate for export and some of other customers may also required. If you could bear REACH fees, we will prepare sample for certification corporation asap. Once we get the certificate, declaration will be sent to you. Please advise so we can proceed soon. I’m not asking for a REACH certificate but just confirmation from you if your products comply with REACH or not? I hope it is clear now? Once again to clarify I do not need a certificate but just an official yes or no if your products comply?Also I did not realise it would take so long to get our camera delivery??? By the time we get the products they will be out of date?客户再次说明他只要REACH声明，不需要做认证，不会出认证费。我回复客户Hi David，Thanks for your prompt reply. To make the declaration if our products comply with REACH or not. Firstly, we need to get REACH certificate before we could confirm. A declaration confirmed without have certificate is a invalid declaration and we are afraid of if there is any dispute and inconnvenience cause for both party later if confirm with no certificate. Regard with delivery time, we are sorry about it. For the first order, it takes some time to adjust firmware, revise manual and there is around 10 days holidayin Sept. and October, thus cause some delay. Hope later orders, it will be more smoothly. It is not our responsibility to pay for information that you should already know? Surely you know what componets and substances go into making your cameras? This is the only question you need to answer. I have never had any other supplier ask for us to pay for certification just to know if you used any banned substances?? Please explain how this is fair? If you want to sell into UK and European markets then tis is purely your responsibility not ours.Please advise as soon as possible what the next step is otherwise we will have to re consider the consequences客户再次声明他们不出认证费。我们没有认证就要重新考虑合作事宜。由于此客户是大的进口商。已经禀告老板我的想法，1. 公司自己出费用做认证，然后出声明给客户（一千多美金）。2. 不做认证直接出声明给客户（公司担后期风险）。3. 没认证，后期客户不考虑这个供应商。把客户意思转达给老板后，老板割肉去做了认证。期待后期客户有大单下了。。。。点赞哦！
