老大,遇到最大客户要求降价20%该怎么办,在线急等!!!

客人来信如下:

However, we have a situation where the Australian dollar is not as strong as it was only a few years ago. This dramatic change of the AUD:USD dropping from $1.10 to $0.70 or lower is impacting the business and is not sustainable.

We have asked our large retailers for price increases several times, however they will not accept.

As we greatly value the partnership we share with XXX(指我司), I am highlighting this so we can work together to ensure that these products remain in our range in the long term. 

I hope that we can share this 40% increase in the exchange rate, by sharing the difference 20% each. Therefore I am asking for a 20% price reduction on the following products:

I look forward to us working together and sharing these costs. As you know we are still rapidly growing in the Australian market, we are currently the 3rd largest brand in Australia! As well we are exporting to various countries including North America, where we are strongly working with major customers to get XXX(指他们的公司品牌) on shelf in the USA and Canada. We cannot do this without your support.

I look forward to receiving your response by close of business Tuesday 27th September 2016.

If you can also please tell me your closure dates for Chinese New Year next year so we can prepare orders in time.

I appreciate your understanding this situation and hope that we can work together to find a solution.

遇到我们最大的客户要求降价20%,列出了差不多20个产品(基本上是全部合作的了),理由是澳元兑美元贬值厉害40%,要我们承担一半汇差。

我们计算美元兑人民币汇率升值也就8%,而且在汇率下跌到6.02左右的时间我们也没有给客户抱怨涨价啊……

所以我想 能不能这样:给他们8%的降价,但待他们的汇率上涨到一定的区间后再恢复原价。这样可行吗?
