However, we have a situation where the Australian dollar is not as strong as it was only a few years ago. This dramatic change of the AUD:USD dropping from $1.10 to $0.70 or lower is impacting the business and is not sustainable.
We have asked our large retailers for price increases several times, however they will not accept.
As we greatly value the partnership we share with XXX(指我司), I am highlighting this so we can work together to ensure that these products remain in our range in the long term.
I hope that we can share this 40% increase in the exchange rate, by sharing the difference 20% each. Therefore I am asking for a 20% price reduction on the following products:

遇到我们最大的客户要求降价20%,列出了差不多20个产品(基本上是全部合作的了),理由是澳元兑美元贬值厉害40%,要我们承担一半汇差。
我们计算美元兑人民币汇率升值也就8%,而且在汇率下跌到6.02左右的时间我们也没有给客户抱怨涨价啊……
所以我想 能不能这样:给他们8%的降价,但待他们的汇率上涨到一定的区间后再恢复原价。这样可行吗?
