分享下几种外贸开发信的优化方法,还有几个开发信模板

近期,有许多做外贸的小伙伴们吐槽过,开发信无论怎么发,客户要不然不回复,要不然就是一句“No,thanks.”。很是让人头疼,仿佛永远看不到希望。

而很多时候,不是你的产品不吸引人,是开发信的格式,让客户直接就不喜欢看。

我整理了几种开发信的修改方法,大家可以看下有没有自己需要采纳的地方:

1、文字太长,很难扫一眼就看明白

老外看邮件一般都是3秒扫一眼,文字一多就很容易被丢进垃圾箱。

一定要记住奥卡姆剃刀原则:如无必要,勿增实体,“Do you want our products?”这种套话不要说。直接一点,告诉客人你是谁、卖什么产品,优势在哪里就够了。

2、文中出现“From the internet”

想一想,你每天收到一大堆乱七八糟的邮件,本来就心烦意乱,结果有个人告诉你:“我在网上找到你的信息,你要不要看看我的产品”。

要是我,我肯定秒拉黑,顺便骂一句现在信息泄露太严重了。

老外也一样,“From the internet, we get your company name.”这种话基本是垃圾箱邮件标配。

其实完全没必要这么老实,可以写的“含糊”一点。避开信息来源这点,直接问客户:"We're glad to hear that you're on the market for…"(我们很高兴获悉你对某某产品有兴趣),减少篇幅也突出重点。

3、公司介绍太多

我们平时逛网站的时候基本不会去看“关于我们”这个版面,客户同样没兴趣。

最好一笔带过,等他对你的产品,价格各方面都有兴趣,再开始展开自己的品牌营销。

4、不注意文化差异

我们很多时候只注重翻译的准确性,却忘记了文化差异导致的语言逻辑和行文风格的不同。

比如我们习惯于用We、I之类的主动语态,但其实外国人是习惯被动语态的。比如说寄样品这种事,我们喜欢说“We'll send you the samples tomorrow.”但其实外国人习惯的语言逻辑是:“Samples will be sent to you tomorrow.”。

不注意文化差异,外国人读起来就会觉得很奇怪,也会对我们的专业度产生质疑。

5、喜欢插入附件、图片和网址

大家可能都觉得图片更利于展示产品,网址也方便用户了解公司。但问题是用户并不会点开,很可能直接当成垃圾邮件删掉了,而且这些附件或者网址,很有可能被国外服务器拦截。 

第一次写开发信最好全文本,不要出现任何图片和附件,也不要在文中出现公司网址。如果不是客户有指定需求或者已经开始询盘,尽量避免用excel或word附件,最好是直接在邮件文本里写明。

注意要点:

切勿内容空洞:

邮件里至少要用最精炼的语言提到自己公司或产品的优势,价格优势、技术先进、设计新颖、生产周期短等等。总之就是把你和其他供应商区别开来的东西。
