最慢的就是最快的

跟 @永不放弃Wayne 、@李兰妮LanyLee 还有几位小伙伴一起学习场景英语已经有三个月了，学习了18个场景，540个实用、地道的英语句子，虽然还不能熟练运用，但是明显地感觉到听力提高了，还有一个意想不到的结果，那就是我开始用英语写日记了。

写英语日记，是几年前的一个想法了，但一直是想想而已，没有动笔。但这三个月的听说练习，让我有了想要表达的强烈愿望，因为我擅长的是写，那就从写日记开始吧！

昨天Wayne问我什么时候开始想写英语日记的，我才思考了一下这个问题，正好又写了一篇日记：

This morning Wayne called me, and we talked in English for several minutes.

He asked me when I had the idea of writing an English diary, and he thought this was an excellent way to practise English.

I had this idea several years ago, but I didn’t let it come true until ten days ago.

Wayne said now was the right moment to practise this idea.

Yes, it is true. Everything happens at the right time when the conditions are ripe.

I think the favourable conditions for my English diary are as follows:

We have learned Scene English for about three months, and I have learned over 500 sentences. I really want to express myself.

I love writing. I write a diary in Chinese every day. I can also write it in English, and read it out.

We have a small group learning English together. I can show my English diary to them, maybe set an example for them, and I can also receive their feedback. It will push me to move on.

到今天为止，我已经写了12篇英语日记，真的很享受这个输出的过程。先把自己脑子里的内容用英语写出来，然后再逐个单词和句子推敲，用Grammaly检查一下，得分达到90分以上，就算完成。再自己读几遍，用手机录音，就成了一篇既有文字又有声音的英文日记。

我坚持每天听读英语和背单词已经有五年时间了吧，有一个APP打卡1900多天了。从我决定重新开始学英语的那一天，从来没有想过我能坚持这么长时间，有时候真的觉得很神奇，amazing!

今天有小伙伴直播分享和讨论如何使用场景英语的教材来学习英语，我看到大家存在的问题，可能有：畏难情绪，没有好的学习方法，急于求成，等等。

我从自己的学习经历中，得出了一个结论：

There is no shortcut to mastering a skill. Be patient, persevere, and move a step every day. That’s it.

For example, I love calligraphy, but I only write three words every day, twenty to thirty times each word, so that I can do it for a long time.

I want to learn simple drawing, and I started on March 14 this year. I draw one or two pictures daily and have done over 400 pictures till today. I can feel my progress and get more confidence in drawing.

It is the same with learning English. Master a few sentences every day and keep going, and our English level will upgrade even without our realizing it.
